The Finance Specialist role works in Finance Operations to troubleshoot user issues and maintain existing features and usage. The goal is to provide users timely support and to give regular status updates to the Finance Systems Administrator Team.
Who you are: A quick learner who enjoys working with technology, problem solving, and enabling success. You enjoy learning about Finance business operations and possess a positive customer support attitude. A troubleshooter who can escalate and lead technical issues to resolution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer Finance ERP application (SAP BusinessByDesign)
- Manage granting, changing, and removing user access
- Manage updates to GL accounts, departments, classes, regions, and other lists determined by the Finance Systems Administrator Team
- Maintain existing dashboards and flat file integrations
- Troubleshoot basic user issues
- Maintain data integrity
Skills and Experience:
- Experience using SAP BusinessByDesign or other Cloud-based Finance ERP is a plus
- Strong Excel skills and ability to do data reconcilation
- General understanding of Finance processes and database concepts
- Leadership in escalating and driving complex support issues to closure
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationships
Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A degree preferably in accounting or finance
- Experience working in a finance support role
- Excellent customer service skills addressing the needs of internal customer with strong communication and process skills
- Detailed, organized and results-oriented
