The Opportunity:
SuccessFactors’ partner community is rapidly expanding to both keep in pace with, and fuel our company growth and market leadership. SuccessFactors is seeking a Channel & Alliance Director for the Nordic region. This person will play a significant role within the channels and alliances organization, driving enterprise-wide partner sales initiatives in order to enabling both our global and local alliance and channel partners across the region to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- To maximize focus and efficiency of current and future local partners and strategic alliances partners across the region to help accelerate the growth in SuccessFactors business.
- Engage with partners to support key sales initiatives and drive business growth through structured business planning, pipeline development and deal reviews including identify and close incremental revenue opportunities together with partners
- Provide frequent briefings on SuccessFactors vision and products as well as ensuring that the partners and our alliances community receive regular training and partner enablement.
- Proactively manage key partnership based on the defined strategy, ensuring through the engagement with partners that all bookings goals are exceeded and business plans are agreed upon.
- Create implementation capabilities with partners for infrastructure and application platforms.
- Engage and manage the communication interface between partners and field sales and/or SuccessFactors managers.
- Work with the Regional Sales Managers to develop a regional sales and alliances plan.
- Share knowledge across the team and continuously develop and enhance personal and team capabilities.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable and successful alliances experience including the meeting of key revenue goals
- Experience of building partner business with resellers as well as delivering and achieving sales quota
- Experience in selling business application software solutions with System Integrators within Europe
- Experience in an On-Demand/SaaS business application environment with a sales background
- Ideally MBA academic background
- Interaction with senior executives across multiple industries
- Passionate about customer success
- Highest level of professional courtesy, mutual respect, and ethics
- High standard of excellence, professionalism, and role model behavior
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter, action-orientated, result-driven
- Local language skills as well as fluent English
This role could be based in Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Finland.
