Due to increasingly growth in our EMEA Region, SuccessFactors is looking for experienced and senior Sales Director Strategic Accounts in Europe. Location can either be London, Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen or Stockholm. The person will need to have proven leadership skills, successful sales track record and solid business acumen to develop and sell our solutions together with the Regional Account Managers in a way that differentiate our cloud offering from its competitors by demonstrating real business value and ROI for our most strategic accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding the Organizational Priorities of a global Strategic Account taking into account both internal and external drivers.
- Own and conduct together with the local Regional Sales Managers the Strategic Account
- Understand and analyze customer needs and develop business propositions to differentiate and sell the SuccessFactors/SAP’s value proposition / ROI and messaging across all LOB’s and C-level execs.
- Leading a team-centric approach to sales qualification and revenue closure, working closely with sales account executives, sales consultant (presales) and consulting personnel in a complex, enterprise sales environment.
- Provide direct support to account team and customers in high potential opportunities or complex solutions, serving as the executive sponsor of the team to the customer.
- Maintain and grow specifically-assigned customer relationships that require senior level attention.
- Examine win/loss analyses to learn more about the effectiveness of sales and customer growth investments.
- Ensure complete adoption of internal administration and systems processes to ensure that data is properly gathered and interpreted.
- Forecast and track revenues and activities in a timely and accurate manner using the in-house systems and other tools.
- Drive business development for your global strategic accounts and participate in and lead customer and media events.
Skills and Experience:
- Seasoned Sales track experience, including significant sales management experience in a solution selling environment to very large accounts – a background in HCM application/Cloud/SaaS software is ideal.
- Demonstrated success in high value, business to business, solution selling.
- Demonstrated ability to design and negotiate large and high ticket deals.
- Business Value/Strategic Thinker who have demonstrated success in developing and maintaining executive level relationships.
- Industry/Market Understanding - Aware of competitive landscape, industry forces and their effects on current and future business strategy/operations.
- Ability to lead and influence team in a matrix management environment.
- First class communication skills – written and verbal, along with the confidence required for influencing others – strong English language capability.
- Stability – A history of intelligent career decisions that resulted in wildly successful tenures.
- Demonstrated capabilities in an aggressive, sales driven and global business environment.
