The Collection Analyst is responsible for approximately 300 past due accounts each month. Using the telephone, email or fax to research and resolve customer billing issues, send collection letters when appropriate and ultimately receive past due payments on accounts.
- The analyst is expected to independently contact collection accounts daily, primarily by phone and email, to collect the past due amounts.
The Analyst follows outlined procedures and uses independent judgment to determine appropriate collection steps.
- The Analyst uses our SAP Case Management application to document the activity of individual customer accounts, recording all collection and reconciliation activity the Analyst works with the other departments such as
Sales, Revenue, and Billing to resolve billing issues.
- In Addition to the above duties the Collection Analyst will be responsible for recommending the placement of defaults to outside 3rd party collection agencies or collections attorney.
Responsibilities:
- They are responsible for approximately 300 past due accounts each month.

- In addition to the above they are responsible for the filing of our company's FDIC and Bankruptcy claims each month.

Requirements:
5+ years Collections, Dispute Resolution and Reconciliation Experience
Strong accounting and account reconciliation background
- Excel, Word, Outlook and Cloud or Enterprise Application Experience , prefer SAP
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Great follow-through skills, the ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and detail oriented.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred or equivalent experience
